We offer a lovely self-contained honeymoon cottage on our farm situated on Monte Amiata, with stunning views of rolling countryside and hilltop villages.
The tastefully restored stone farm buildings are set within ten acres of our organic olive grove, a five minute walk away from the village of Seggiano in southern Tuscany, 200 km south of Pisa.
Since we are off the beaten tourist track, the Amiata countryside is unspoilt and still a habitat for wild flowers, interesting birdlife and animals such as boar, porcupine, hare and deer.
Situated on the shoulder of Monte Amiata, sacred mountain of the Etruscans, famous for its hot mineral water springs, Vignone is a country haven for relaxing, between seeing the sights of Siena, Pienza, Assisi or discovering the secrets of this lesser known area of Tuscany. And there are some great restaurants to try.
